WordPress Hosting Malaysia
Short version, before anything else: we don’t sell hosting on its own. It comes bundled with a care plan, from RM180/month. If you’re looking for a standalone hosting account to manage yourself, a good shared host will serve you better and cost less — and we’d rather say that now than take the money.
What follows is what your site actually runs on when we host it, why it’s bundled, and what that costs.
Why we stopped selling hosting separately
We started where most people start: shared hosting plans that promised the world and delivered slow load times, vague uptime and a server packed with hundreds of other sites. Upgrading to a VPS didn’t fix it — the specs were vague, support was thin, and we were still guessing at what WordPress actually needed.
So we learned to run the servers ourselves: how to spec them, how to tune them for WordPress, how to make every ringgit of hosting spend show up as speed. That became the setup we now run for almost every site in our portfolio — eleven of our thirteen client sites sit on it.
The lesson we took from those early years is the reason for the bundling. Hosting on its own solves half a problem. A fast server running a WordPress install nobody updates still gets hacked; a perfectly maintained site on an oversold shared server is still slow. Selling one without the other means selling something we know won’t work, so we don’t.
What your site actually runs on
Most Malaysian hosting pages won’t tell you this, so here it is plainly:

Hosting is included in every care plan. There is no separate hosting line on your invoice, and no per-gigabyte surprises.

What cheap hosting actually costs
RM10/month shared hosting is genuinely cheaper than RM180/month — until something happens. For honest comparison, here’s what the alternatives cost when they go wrong in Malaysia:
- Ad-hoc fixes without a plan — around RM130 per fix, or RM250/hour. Fine occasionally, expensive as a habit.
- Hacked-site recovery — typically RM500–RM2,000 depending on the damage, and that’s before counting the enquiries lost while the site shows a warning to every visitor.
- The invisible cost — a slow site that quietly converts worse for months. Nobody sends you an invoice for that one.
A year of Essential Care costs about the same as one bad week. That’s the whole argument, and it’s the reason we bundle rather than upsell.
Who this suits — and who it doesn’t
A good fit if: your website brings in enquiries or orders and downtime costs you real money; you’d rather one team handled the site, the server and the search work; or you’ve inherited a site nobody has updated in a year and would like someone to take it over without judgement.
Not a good fit if: you want root access and full control of the server; you’re comfortable managing updates, backups and security yourself; or the site is a personal project where an hour of downtime costs nothing. In all three cases a standard shared or cloud host is the sensible choice, and we’ll say so.
Moving an existing site to us
We migrate the site first and check it thoroughly before anything is pointed at the new server, so the switch happens once and quietly. Before that we run a free health check — speed, security, what’s outdated, what’s broken — and fix anything urgent as part of onboarding. Sites arrive in all sorts of states; we’ve seen worse than yours.
You keep ownership of everything: your domain stays in your name, and you have full admin access to your own site. No lock-in, no hostage websites.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy hosting from you without a care plan?
No. Hosting alone solves half the problem, and we’d be selling you something we know doesn’t work on its own. Care plans start at RM180/month with hosting included.
Are your servers in Malaysia?
Not necessarily — we choose the region based on where your customers actually are, and Cloudflare sits in front of every site regardless. For a Malaysian audience that usually means a nearby Asian region; for Singapore or Australia-facing brands it may mean somewhere else entirely.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
On Secure Care and above, we clean and restore it at no extra cost. On Essential Care, recovery is charged at the usual RM500–RM2,000 range depending on damage. Either way you have daily off-site backups to fall back on.
Do you host sites you didn’t build?
Yes. Roughly speaking we prefer to — a site built elsewhere that’s now nobody’s responsibility is exactly the situation care plans exist for. The free health check tells us what we’d be taking on before either of us commits.
Can I leave later and take my site with me?
Yes, and we’ll help you move it. Your domain, your site, your content — we’d rather you left cleanly than stayed because leaving was made difficult.
