Web Design Cost in Singapore (2026)

A five-page business website from us costs RM1,500, one-off. That is the answer, and it is the same number whether you are in Singapore, Malaysia or Australia — we quote in Malaysian Ringgit and we do not convert it.

For comparison, the same work in the Singapore market runs roughly S$1,500–8,000 from a freelancer and S$7,000–25,000 from an agency.

The rest of this page explains where all of those numbers come from, what moves them, and why ours look the way they do. If you only wanted the figure, you already have it.

What we charge

These are our listed prices — the same ones on our shop, not a range invented for this page. One price across all three markets, in Ringgit, with no conversion markup and no per-country negotiation.

We do not publish an SGD figure, because we do not charge one. Convert at whatever today’s rate is — we would rather you checked than trusted a number we baked in months ago and forgot to update.

Why we can quote a number at all

Almost everything in that table reduces to one figure: RM300–500 per page, depending on what the page has to do. A five-page site is five pages. A forty-page authority build is forty. Ecommerce adds a store to configure and products to load, which is why it is quoted separately.

That is the whole pricing model, and it is why we can publish prices while most of this market answers with “it depends”. It does depend — on page count, and on what each page has to carry. Once you price the page instead of the project, the number stops being a mystery.

It also means you can check our maths. If a quote does not divide sensibly into pages, ask why.

Why ours are lower, and what that does and doesn’t mean

We are a founder-led studio based in Malaysia, working remotely across three markets. Our costs are Malaysian. Our standards are not adjusted per country — you get the same build, the same person doing the work, and the same care plan whether you are in Johor Bahru or Jurong.

What a lower price does not buy you: a Singapore office to visit, or a local account manager who will sit in your boardroom. If those matter to your business, a Singapore-based agency is the right call, and we will say so rather than talk you out of it.

The PSG grant: we are not on the list

Singapore SMEs can claim up to 50% of qualifying website costs through the Productivity Solutions Grant. Two conditions have to line up, and they are often confused with each other:

  • Your company must be registered and operating in Singapore, with at least 30% local shareholding.
  • The vendor must appear on IMDA’s pre-approved ICM vendor list.

We are not on that list, so PSG does not apply to our work. We would rather tell you that on the pricing page than let you discover it during a quote.

Worth doing the arithmetic anyway. Halve a S$5,000 PSG-eligible quote with the grant and it lands near S$2,500. Convert our RM3,000 Business build at today’s rate and it still sits comfortably below that. Run the sum yourself rather than trusting ours — and if the subsidised option is genuinely better for you, take it.

What actually changes the price

  • Page count — the single biggest factor, and the easiest to estimate honestly.
  • Whether content exists — copy and photographs you already have will shorten a build more than any discount will.
  • Functionality — booking, payments, member logins and multilingual each add real work.
  • Ecommerce scale — ten products and a thousand products are different projects.
  • Who does it — a template operator, a freelancer and an agency are selling you different amounts of thinking.

What to ask any agency before you sign

Including us. If an answer is evasive, that is the answer.

  • What exactly is inside the quoted figure, and what gets billed separately?
  • Who owns the site, the domain and the hosting when we part ways?
  • What happens after launch, and what does that cost each month?
  • Can I see three sites you built that are still live and still maintained?
  • Is this price fixed, or does it move once you have seen my content?

Singapore businesses we’ve built for

  • IS Design Studio — luxury interior design, Ubi Road. Design, SEO and PPC.
  • Beyond+ — BIM and VDC services for construction. Design, SEO and hosting.
  • Future Home Builder — renovation and building contractor. Website and hosting.
  • SolarPlus — solar energy for homes and businesses. Website and hosting.

Frequently asked

How much does a website cost in Singapore?

For most SMEs, somewhere between S$1,500 and S$8,000 buys a properly built business site from a freelancer, and S$7,000 to S$25,000 from an agency. Below roughly S$900 you are usually buying a template with your logo on it, which is fine if that is what you want. Above S$25,000 you should be getting custom functionality, not just nicer design. Our own five-page Starter build is RM1,500.

Why is your price in Ringgit and not Singapore dollars?

Because Ringgit is what we charge, everywhere. We work across Malaysia, Singapore and Australia at one price, and publishing a converted figure would only invite the question of which day’s rate we used. Convert it at today’s rate.

Are you a PSG pre-approved vendor?

No. The Productivity Solutions Grant requires the vendor to be on IMDA’s pre-approved ICM vendor list, and we are not on it, so PSG does not apply to our work. If grant eligibility is essential to your project, you need a pre-approved Singapore vendor.

Do you work with Singapore businesses?

Yes. Six of our published case studies are Singapore companies: IS Design Studio (interior design), Beyond+ (BIM and VDC services), Future Home Builder (renovation contractor), SolarPlus (solar energy), Bao Xiang Rui (jade jewellery ecommerce) and Untoldstr (hardware ecommerce). All are named and linked, and the sites are live.

Can a cheaper website still be good?

Sometimes. What makes a website expensive is usually scope rather than quality — pages, functionality and content. What makes a website bad is skipping the structure underneath, and that costs the same either way. Ask what is inside the number, not just what the number is.

How long does a website take to build?

A landing page takes 1–2 weeks, a five-page Starter site 2–3 weeks, and a ten-page Business site 4–6 weeks. An Authority build ships its core pages in 4–6 weeks and the rest weekly after that. The most common cause of delay is not design — it is waiting on content.
